What is happening with color trends in 2025?

In 2025, expect to see a shift towards warm, earthy tones, rich jewel tones, and muted, complex colors.. Neutrals like white, greige, and beige will remain popular, but darker shades like brown and burgundy are gaining steam. Bold accents, like deep greens, mustards, and teal, are also making a comeback, breaking away from minimalist trends.

Specific color trends:
- Earthy greens: Think olive, moss, and sage green.
- Warm neutrals: Beige, taupe, and terracotta are becoming more popular.
- Jewel tones: Emerald, sapphire, amethyst, and deep burgundy are expected to be seen more.
- Mustard yellow: Muted gold and other mustard shades will also be popular.
- Deep, rich colors: Brown, burgundy, and even deep reds are emerging as strong choices.
- Muted pinks and purples: Complex muddier pink and purple tones with earthy, grounded bases are also on the rise.
- Pastels: Soft pastels like lilac, soft mint, peach, and muted blues provide a soothing backdrop.
- Brights: Bold hues like mauve, teal, magenta, yellow, and lime green add vibrancy and creativity as playful accents.

(Note: Images of ties, because it represents colors and I wear a tie everyday. I love mixing colors and textured fabrics, so why not start with what I am wearing. I know this due to client feedback that it helps give them confidence in believing in me and I know what I am talking about when it comes to Interior Design. My back story on Ties. I spent 15 years being a full time artist … my wardrobe was tshirts, cargo shorts and some kind of croc sandals. So, i relish wearing ties, dress shirts, vests and fancy shoes. (ps. always paired with some kind of colored jeans))
